How it works

  • Choose the place

    You tell me the coastline or land area, the size, and where it will hang. One email or a short call is usually enough to start.

  • Approve the proof

    Before anything is cut, I send you a full 3D image of the finished map. If you are not happy with it, you get a full refund.

  • Cut, poured, delivered

    I laser-cut the wood and pour the resin by hand, layer by layer. Then I pack it in reusable plywood, built to survive shipping. Most maps take a few weeks to finish. Larger maps take longer.

Timber Tale began as a Valentine's Day gift. I made a map of the places that mattered most to me and my partner - cut from wood, poured in resin. That one gift grew into a small studio in Tallinn. Now I want to bring the same craft to places where people gather: yacht clubs, offices, lobbies, and waiting rooms.

Every map is still cut and finished by hand. No two maps are the same, because no two coastlines are the same.
